Agreezo is a small personal project, currently shared with a handful of friends. We only collect what we need to recommend you something to watch and to keep your account working. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't share your information with anyone else.
Short version: your activity personalises your recommendations, and that's it.
Your votes and activity are used to personalise your feed and to improve Agreezo. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not share your information with studios, streaming services, advertisers, or any other third party. There is no data business here — just an app trying to find you a good film or show.
Location: We detect your country (not your city or precise location) to show the streaming services and cinema times available where you are. You can change your country in Settings. Precise “near me” cinema results only ever use your device location when you explicitly turn them on — nothing finer than a country is collected in the background.
Affiliate links: Rent and Buy links for Amazon and Apple TV may include an affiliate tag. If you make a purchase through one of those links, we may earn a small commission. No personal data about you is transmitted to Amazon or Apple beyond standard HTTP referral headers. This commission does not affect your recommendations.
Your data is stored in our database on Supabase, a managed cloud platform. Your password is handled by our login provider and kept only as a secure hash — even we can't read it. Traffic between your device and the app is encrypted over HTTPS.
We keep the amount of data we hold small and only retain what the app actually needs to work. Agreezo runs on free-tier cloud infrastructure.
The "Report an account" link in the footer works without signing in. If you use it, we collect your contact details (an email address or phone number) so a person can reply to you, along with whatever you tell us about the account and why you're reporting it. We don't ask for your date of birth or any identity document. That information is used only to review the report and get back to you.
You can view or change your profile details any time in Settings. You can also delete your account from Settings at any time — deletion is immediate and permanent: your profile, swipes, lists, ratings, and settings are erased from our database and cannot be recovered. If you'd like a copy of what we hold about you, just email us and we'll sort it out.
Agreezo is a personal project run by Sarah Smith, based in Australia. It's currently shared with a small group of friends rather than offered to the public, so this policy is intentionally short and practical — not a full enterprise privacy program. We aim to follow Australian privacy law and to treat your data with care. If anything here looks wrong, or you have a concern, please get in touch.
